The Yi Jin Jing exercises were created by Bodhidharma, the legendary patriarch of Shaolin Kung Fu. He developed these exercises to give the monks a robust and resilient body so that they could have the stamina to withstand the physical toll of hours of meditation. These exercises were later developed and formed the basis of developing the body of the Shaolin Warrior Monks.
